I am such a bad blogger!!!! Mind you, not much to really report! Busy getting ready for the 3rd Bubbly Funk retreat in Church Stretton in 11 days WOO HOO, am soooo looking forward to it! This time i am doing a decopatch class, and looking forward to getting messy with PVA glue LOL. This is a 3D paper Mache lizard i did that got me thinking of the class! I have also done a larger MDF lizard too--but not photographed it yet!! I now have a long list of thing i want to do-including picture frames too!!!!

Website going slowly--on average just one order a week--but hey, hopefully one day it will pick up :D

Been ages since i updated but i do have an excuse--am one handed at the mo due to tendon damage to my right hand!!!

Anyway--here are a my latest layouts!

1st one is doen using the 'Back to School' kit i won on Rebekahs Blog hop last month!! Really enjoyed using ONLY the kit ( plus Bazzill and ink)

This is my LO for Kirsty online sketch which runs every wednesday night!! Great laugh is had by all and a great opportunity to scrap and chat ( and watch the web broadcast too)

This is a LO done using a sketch from Creative Scrappers 75 sketches!

Where has the time gone--my baby is off to Juniors today! He looks sooooo smart and grown-up!! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Over on Bubbly Funk we regularly have swaps- These are for the 'twinchies' sawp, with an 'Autumn' theme! For those that don't know about twinchies, they are literally 2in x 2in pieces of art!!!
There are actually 10 people in this swap--but the pic looks better with 9, but rest assured i have done 10!!
I used chipboard for the base, alcohol inks as a base colour, punched out leaves, covered in 3 layers of UTEE and accent beads ( in autumn gold) pressed onto the top while still hot!

Now i need to make a start on my inchies ( which i host) and the theme this month is 'back to school) these are the same as twinchies except they will be 1in x 1in

well, today was the day for the Studio Challenge Cybercrop! Started at 8am this morning, and i'm taking a little break from the table and uploading what i have done already!

This was a Becky Fleck sketch, and anyone that knows me knows that i LOVE sketches LOL

This one was another sketch, this time from Anna Bowkis! I loved this one, simple but very effective i think!

Next it was time to get messy with Glimmer Mists--i LOVE them!!!! This was a 3 part class showing different kinds of 'Frames' ( i haven't done the 3rd one as it invloves stitching---but you never know i MAY still do it!)

The first one shows a painted frame--so lots more scope to get messy LOL

The next part was a circular frame--tried with my CM cutters, but the circle wasn;t big enough for what i wanted, so out came a dinner plate LOL.

This next class was DIY embellishments, so i gave the flowers a go!! They were very clever i thought, so perfect for a wedding layout!!! ( only taken 8 years to get this photo scrapped LOL)

Still more classes to do--that i will save for tomorrow or the next day--and still lots more to go up on the blog!!

Been a brill day so far!

STUDIO CHALLENGE CYBERCROP

The studio Challenge cybercrop starts at 8am tomorrow, BUT there was a pre-crop challenge tonight.
It was to use a framed titled. So here is my layout!! I used a chipboard frame covered in patterned paper.

We also had to answer a few questions:

1-what is your name and where do you hail from???

I'm Lesley ( but know as Leigh) and i originally hail from West London, but now live in Hampshire

2-Who is your fave scrappy manufacturer??

It would be a toss up between Cosmo Cricket or Basic Grey---although there is not that many i hate, so i could happily chose any :)

3-What product do you find yourself using the most??

well, it would be my poky tool and trimmer, can't do without them

4-Do u prefer to make your own embellishments, or buy ready made?

It has to be a mixture. I love making them, but sometimes you just have to go with the ready made

5-Have you ever taken part in a cybercrop before?

Yes, many times, although this one is the first time i'll have no scrapping company!!!!

WOW, its been a while since i blogged!! Nothing much happening here--its school hols and Harry is booked into Boredom Busters--which is full of activities 10-12 and 2-4 everyday!! You'd think it would wear him out--but not a chance LOL
Website is up and running--going slow, but hey ho--need to think of ways to advertise it more!

Well, the Monoploy themed CC is over--the thimbles came second, so not tooooo bad :)

Here are the bits i managed to do over the weekend----did pretty nuch all classes except one, and missed 3 challenges!!!

This is what i did for the Mystery Kit! For those who don't know, the mystery kit does exactly what it says on the tin, we have no idea what is in the kit tik it arrives on our doorstep! Then we have to make something/anything! There is then a vote to decide whos is best!

This was the pre-crop challenge, where we had to someone who had been a 'constant' i our lives or who has had a profound effect and brought a huge change to our lives, It had to include 4 colurs and use 2 techniques! I managed lots of colours LOL and my techniques were : paper tearing, and glimmer misting over a mask!
This was a daily challenge, and was to scrap a family board game!!! Harry is addicted to all things Lego, so we HAD to play his Lego Minotaurus game! I've been waiting to use this paper for ages :-)

This Class was called : Angel Islington, and you had to use hand cut frames!!

This challenge was called : Regent Street and was to scrap a day of shopping :D so I had to do my fave craft show at Ally Pally

This Class was : Bow Street, and the technique was painting over masks/letters! I love using my paints, so it was lovely to get them out again!

This challenge was called : Vine Street, and was to use 'vines', so i used the felt swirl on the bottom!

This wasone of my fave classes called : The Strand, and the techniques was stitching, which i actually really enjoyed!!!

This was my other fave class called Oxford Street: and the technique used was Glimmer Mist!!! which i LOVE using!! and will def be doing again :D

This class was called : Property Ladder! It was supposed to be a 2 hr class but this took 6 hrs to do--but was sooooo worth it!

I'm def gonna be buying another one and making a christmas one!!!!!

This class was called : Pentonville, and needed wirework!!! It was done on a canvas--but since i never made it to Ikea to get one, this was done smaller on a Layout! Would love to try a bigger one tho!

This was a challenge called : Pass GO! and to use something on a layout from each team!!! so::: THIMBLE--a sewing element ( i stitched on it), TOP HATS--a hidden element ( i have hidden journalling behind the right hand photo--with blue cord!), CARS--moveable/flap/ pop up element ( i have a flap under the top left photo showing another photo!) and lastly SHIPS-- metal/shiny element ( i have a metal coil on top right photo!)

Thos challenge was called : WaterWorks, and was to used 'water based' in either the photo or technique, but also it had to be a holiday!!!!

This challenge was called : Coventry Street, and was all about Friendship and also had a sketch to follow! Have to say i love using sketches :D

This challenge was called : Park Lane, you had to use a sketch ( of your choice) and use 'outside' photos! My sketch was from Pencillines!

This challenge was called : Piccadilly, and you had to scrap a 'tradition'! Our tradition for CC's is to have croissants on the sunday morning!!!!!

This class was called : Fleet Street, and the technique was making paper flowers!!! This was quite good fun as you got to paint newspaper ( although we didn't have any so used an old book instead!!!) I think the 3 different flowers look quite effective!

This was another fave class called : Mayfair! Again this was done on a canvas, but mine was a layout---but i will def be doing this one again too!" The technique was paint and textue!!! I was soooo impatient and couldn;t let my crackle glaze dry naturally ( or i would run out of tie on the deadline!) so i used my heat gun to speed it along---BUT it didn't crackle it--it made it boil and bubble!!! Still, it was still a texture-just not the one i was going for LOL

The class i didn't do was called : Pall Mall, and was to make a heart wreath!!

The challenges i would still like to do were :

Super tax--- ( use that 'special' stash you have saved!)

Kings Cross Station---( use 4 photos and include some kind of cross or X)

Marlborough Station---( layout with subject 'journey')

Almost caught up on sleep--only got 2 hrs on sat!

well, its that time again :D at 7pm tonight, the Monopoly CC will start :D. Mum is on her way for the weekend, but unfortunately my other CC/scrapping buddy Rebekah, can only do tonight due to the Duke of Edinborough awards weekend---how unfair of them to plan it the same weekend!!!!!

Well, i have finally got round to blogging my 'little' haul from the weekend LOL

First is a 'few' bits of paper i 'needed' LOL--well, i just can't resist!!!

Finally here is my prize--i won it in the ball machine at the Capture the Magic stall :D a FAB Doodlebug tote bag FUL of Doodlebug embellies!!!

I thought i had already blogged my jigsaw but obviously i hadn't---so here it is!!

My theme was Celtic, and i love all the pieces, want to thank all the girls who did a piece for me!!

I have so far managed to do 3 things from Rebekahs Blog Hop!! Am still hoping to do more--but time is running out LOL

First is Julie's UTEE technique! Unfortunately my embossing pad is obviously running out cos it didn't seem very wet---but i still had fun!!!!! Will def use this technique again!!!

Next I did Anna Bowkiss's sketch! You also has to use buttons and Hand journalling!!! I used Chipboard button shapes!!!!!!

Next i have done Kathleen's sketch---but insteadof stars i used rectangles!!!! unfortunatley the flash seems to have been too bright on this pic---no matter how many times i tried to dull it down!!!

Hi, and welcome to my blog! For my part of the blog bash, i'm going to show you how to make a domino pendant!
The pic below shows the 2 different kinds i make---but I'm going to show you how to do the one on the left!!

(The one on the right is made purely using Alcohol Inks and gems!!! )

To start with, gather your equipment! You will need a plain domino, a bead, a 2 part glue ( like Araldite), a piece of tissue paper, a stamp, Stazon ink, PVA glue, a gem, colouring pencils ( although you can use pens too!) a nail file ( which is missing from the picture) and Glossy Accents ( or Diamond Glaze)

First step is to glue on the bead that the thing/wire will go through! For this i use Araldite and it has a harder finish!! Leave this to dry for a few hours!

Cut a piece of Tissue paper bigger than your domino and stamp your image!! I have used a stamp that is the width of a domino---but you can use any stamp you have, even using just part of an image!!!

Colour in your design with whatever you choose to use!

Next-stick onto your domino using a very thin layer of the PVA glue.

Leave to dry for a while, and then cut as close as you can with scissors! File the edges down so its nice and smooth.

using a small dot of Glossy Accents or Diamond Glaze, stick on a gem, and now cover the whole thing with the Glaze and leave to dry--preferrably overnight!!!!

Now its dry, you can use a leather thong or wire and wear with pride!!!

I hope you enjoy trying this technique-----leave me a link to your versions and after 31st March i'll draw a random winner who will be able to receive one of mine ( either of the 2 desugns shown at the beginning--the ink version will be in the colour of your choice)

Over on Bubbly Scrumptious there is a challenge to use lilac, blue and pink in a project! I love this combo and had already got these beads with a necklace in mind--so perfect timing :D

Having already done the 12x12 and the 8x8 jigsaw swap on UKS, I HAD to do the 6x6 too LOL. Had lots of fun with this one! really small pieces really makes you think! Still not 100% sure about a couple of pieces, so we'll see!

First piece is for Pinkster-her theme was vintage butterflies. Found this pic online and thought it was beautiful!

Next was a piece for Eluned (Ann) whose theme was Hollywood/bling/sparkle! I've had this mask for ages and i thought it had an 'oscar' look about it!!! Lots of gems and glossy accents!

This piece was for 3peaches--her theme was Egypt! A fave of mine cos i had one of my jigsaws in this theme too :D I stamped the backround in a pale sand colour and embossed ( in gold) the 'Eye of Horus' on the top!!

This piece is for Roxy52-and her theme was Blues--music and colour! So i combine the two using a sax charm and music note to represent the blues music aspect!

This piece is for Wisher and her jigsaw is a combination of her caribbean cruise! I asked to do Antiqua since i got married there! I drew the Antiquan flag--but after adding the Glossy accents the blue doesn't seem to have glazed right!!! I added a beach chair charm too!!

This piece is mine and its Celtic! I stamped the backround image and added a metal celtic charm!

This piece is for Magpie--and its metal/grunge! I'm not 100% happy with this piece, it needs 'something' so i'll no doubt come back to it! I distressed the backround and added magic mesh! I had a metal square embellie that i inked and crackle glazed!

This piece is for Dragonfly Jane and her theme is Magical moon! I distressed the back in a few shades of blue and stamped a 'fairy dust' backround! I added moon/star charms

This piece is for Sixofone and her theme was Mickey Mouse and friends! I sooooo wanted to do Eeyore as he is my fave--but i couldn;t find anything that would fit--was all toooo big :(! I had these metal rimmed mickey shaped and small domed mickey shapes too!!!!

This is the completed jigsaw all together!!!!

As an extra piece from the 12x12 swap! Rebekah's group had a person missing--so her's never got completed, so she asked if i could do it for her and i was happy to do it ( we were in different groups!) Her theme was Butterflies, and Time in Chocolate brown and duck egg blue!!! I stamped the clocks in a pale blue ( not sure that shows up well!) and found a wonderfully sparkly peeloff of a butterfly which i stuck on pale blue paper :D Added a clock charm to it too :D

First one is really easy, just a single row of buttons! Sorry-looks a bit blurry!

This one i tried to add a second layer halfway, it looks fab IRL!

This is just a stretchy chain bracelt with added beads!

And another stretchy bracelet--this one needs more beads--but am waiting for some to arrive!

A while ago, i found an article in a bead/jewellery magazine on how to make a wired bangle! It was immediatley put on my 'to do' list! Then when i went to a local (ish) crop, one of my friends there ( Di ) made one and made it look sooooo easy! It took me a while to locate my wire--but one night ( at around midnight--sat on my bed) i made the bangle! The next day i attached the buttons and hey presto :D
I love the finished results! I now NEED to go and by lots more wire LOL, i'll be hoping to get coloured wire too--so watch this space :)
I have also been playing with chains and beads--and this is a very basic bracelet! The links on this chain are bigger than my other chains, so am also hoping to get more of it ( otherwise the bracelt will be thinner---but still simialr style!)

hope you like them, i have a list of diferent colour combos i want to try--but will welcome any ideas

I had great fun with this ( i love scraplifts LOL) and managed to do these two! The first one-BRRRanches, I turned it round 90*.

The second one was a straighforward scraplift!!! Lovely Lashes was of a giraffe we saw in Blackpool Zoo who came up to the glass to see us!!!! Even seemed to lean down and kiss Graham through the glass LOL.

OMG i have been a bad blogger!! Mind you, nothing really exciting to report!! We had a CC a while back, but i was ill on the firday night, so spent quite a lot of sat catching up!! I still managed to get a score of 5000 tho--so was proud of myself--even though we came second by only one layout--lots of us were saying 'if only we had done one more challenge' Oh well, they'll be another one soon!!!!

We had a fab christmas--once again Harry was spoilt! We have Lego coming out of our ears yet again!!!! Not only was it Star Wars Lego, but a fairly new range called Lego Castles! He was sooooooo chuffed to be given a set that contained a Troll :)

I was given this craft rack by mum--so i now need to tidy my craft room to find somewhere to put it! Unfortunatley i don;t have any wall space as all my shelves are floor to ceiling, so it will have to go onto of my computer table!!!
Graham bought me this watch ( as well as some crafting goodies) and i love it!!! Can;t wait to go somewhere nice in order to wear it :D

I have been a bad blogger!!!!!! Been meaning to update for ages--but life gets in the way!

Anyway--had a busy weekend--Saturday was spent in London with a great bunch of girls!! Lots of sightseeing and drinking--a perfect day!!!

Sunday was spent at my fave craft show!!! Ally Pally! I have put lots of pics on otherwose it would've just looked crowded and messy!!!

Here are my faves---BLING!! A girls can't have too much bling in her life LOL

mmmmmmmmmm--Prima flowers!!! The 2 packs on the right are in face from 4 packs--mum and I split them! so we both get twice as many ( i don't use nearly enough flowers--but since i don't get to do girly layouts i'm not surprised LOL)

Alphabets!!! I only wanted to get a 'proper' red one!!! look what else i found :D also a cardmakers goody bag!! ( also split in 2 with mum!! I got the B&W one and mum a christmassy one!)

7--i am a very messy crafter lol, i have a room for my stuff, but i craft on the dining table--and thats where it stays :D
8--i love horror films, but can't watch them alone!!
9--i am a 'savory' person, would much rather have a bag of crisps, then a chocolate bar! ( but i do like choc lol)
10--i am a loyal friend--a shoulder to cry on, and will listen to your moaning and try and offer advice if needed :-)

Well, i have finally completed this years jigsaw swap ( at least the 12x12 version--still have 8x8 and 6x6 to go yet LOL )

This is mum's piece---traditional christmas! Tried to resemble the decorations on a tree :-)

This piece is for Juliwan-China! Had fun with this, as I love chinese things!!

This is T_Ann's piece--Opulence!!! Think it might need a little extra--so may play again later!

This is Wisher's Piece--Waterfall! Can't really see in the pic, but the water 'glistens' ( thanks to stickles;-) )

This is Annette's piece-Lizards! Again, think this needs 'tweaking' so will do that later

This is Dancing Frog's piece--Woodland/Greenman! Never having heard of Greenman--google came to the rescue LOL

This is for PuddlePants--Birds! Had fun with this, used my faves--alcohol inks LOL

Had a fab day at Ally Pally today! Spent far too much as usual ( most of it on Capture the Magic, Scrapshed and Scrap Revolution)

Here is all the shaped cardstock i got :-)

This is my haul of balls from Capture the Magic LOL. When Harry and Graham came to pick me up from their shop on Tues, there were some spare balls--and Harry WANTED a lime green one! Well, you can see i didn;t manage it, and neither did mum, Lisa or Rebekah--so a very disappointed Harry picked me up!! Will def have to go back to the shop and see if we can get one :-)

I have finally finished the samples for Vikki over at Capture The Magic, for the BSSS at Ally Pally next weekend!

I have had sooooo much fun--but now very worried that they won't be good enough ( so i won't be asked again LOL)

This is from one of 3 layouts!! I have to say I LOVE Ranger's Crackle paint :-) , I also managed to have fun with flowers--which when you have a boy, you don;t get to do very often LOL.

This is layout number 2--a very simple layout, but probably my favourite!

This is layout number 3--which i probably struggled with the most--but it was Graham's favourite!!!! I love using co'ordinations paper! I ended up with glitter everywhere from the alphabet--BUT---I soooooooo have to get more--they are soooooo lush :-)

This was the first of 2 minibook using BoBunny papers! I added the chipboard cogs for a final touch!!!

first pic is not brilliant for some reason!!

Thos was the second mini book and it was a BoBunny 'my edgy' book--which is gorgeous--and i'm sooo gonna get some more in different colours!! :-)

If all goes well, i'll show you the complete pictures after the show!!!

Well, Harry has finished his first 'proper' swap. He has completed 9 'blue' inchies! He's looking forward to doing another one--as he wants to do his favourite colour next-PURPLE lol.
He has done them completely on his own--the only thing i did was cut the 1x1 card!

Well, the CyberCrop is over--just the tidying up to do :D Thought I'd put someof the LO's i'd managed to do onto here :-)

this a challenge to use lace on a LO--a very quick one to do!!

this was a fun book to do--you had to enlarge the template to do it--but i decided to do a mini version--but it was sooo much fun, will def try a bigger version-plus i used my MIA for the first time LOL

this was a challenge to use 'Purple' 'Friends theme' and 'buttons'

this was a mini book--the paper on the cover is sooooooo lush-its all flocked! Has empty pages in at the moment, but will def try and scrap this size!!!

this was one of my fave classes--Bubbly Funk! There was 4 things to make, i managed 3 of them :-) firstly a accordian book and key ring ( was also a wall hanging to do, but didn't get time to do that )

thhis was the 4th thing to do--a LO, and i LOVE it!!!!

this was the first time i had used watercolour paint--and it won't be the last LOL. I also used crackle paint too--and love that ( need to get more colours now-cos i onloy have one )

this was another fab class--i love getting messy LOL

I lovethe frame on this LO--might have to try and do some more-great for multi photo LO's

I love black and white photos, and this was a great class, cos it used up scraps of paper too!

Rebekah came to scrap with mum and me on Friday night--but came prepared to stay all weekend because of the snow! She has promised to stay for the whole CC next time :-)

Finally got round to uploading a 'few' pics from our recent holiday! We spent a fab week in North Carolina visiting friends! Unfortunatly, we didn't get to see much of my friend jenny as she had to return to Australia for a family funeral!

here we go::: This is one of my fave pics from the holiday-Harry and his girlfriend Chloe!!!

When we arrived at the car rental-they had run out of mid-sized SUV's, so we got an upgrade to a full-sized :-) it is the same size as a BMW X5-and was great!!!

Harry insisted on trying on lots of the girls dressing up costumes LOL -will definitley be keeping them for his 18th birthday ;-) we did have to laugh at the wings....

well, i thought it was about time i uploaded the bits i got from Ally Pally! All except the BIA, as i ran out of memory on my camera LOL

firstly is the new paper i got, a tin of chipboard designs (actually it was 2 different tins, which my sister and i split), 2 packs of core-dinations 8x8. and some metal alphas. There was also a chipboard house which I'm gonna try and make up as a gingerbread house for xams!!!

then there lots of bits and pieces! gems, halloween goodies, a bare wooden bangle to decorate, some more stickles, 2 more distress inks, a christmas cuttlebug cut and emboss, some prima flowers and some ribbon too ( a couple of scratch piccies too for Abbie for christmas)

lastly, here are my new stamps--i can't wait to play with them. I got some oriental, halloween, some flowers, an owl, a couple of xmas ones and a couple of 'decorative' ones too :D

well, its been a busy weekend! Firstly on friday, straight from school we went to mum's, who was looking after Harry as Graham was taking me out! it was a total surprise-so imagine my joy when we went to the west end and saw STOMP!!!!! It was fanbloomingtastic!!! YOU HAVE TO SEE IT!!!!! Its very noisy but brill!!!

Then on Saturday it was Dill and Ken's Golden wedding anniversary! There were 40 family and friends taking over the top floor of a local restaurant!!!
Then it was a quick trip home in time for the cybercrop bingo ( i was one word away from winning LOL )

thought it was about time to upload few new piccies of Scorch and Spyro! There are groeing at a rapid rate-at least twice the size they were hen we bought them! They have both finished shedding for the 3rd time! Spyro is the Kamikazi of the pair--you only have to open the door and he jumps out LOL he's also the fastest-take your eye off him for a second and he's gone!!

Had a great day today, only worked for half a day, then went to see Harry's work-he's doing really well--just has to practice his 'b' 'd' '3' and '7'. Then spent a while chatting with a guy i went to school with over on Facebook! I then spent a good whie going through all the people on my school page on Friends Reunited leaving messges for all I know LOL

Tomorrow if the weather holds off, Abbie and Niall want to go to Thorpe Park--so watch this space!!!

Well, its been ages since i updated this thing LOL. Not much has happened really-i now have a new car (well its new to me), so hopefully i'll have pain free driving from now on!!!!

I was chatting with my fellow bubblies today, and mentioned that i was sorting out my brads etc with Harry's help today! So Ali wanted to see how i sorted all my stuff, so here goes LOL........

Here is my desk-still in mid tidy up!!!

here are the 12x12 boxes that store my chipboard!!! Well, the ones on the left do!!! plus 1 has acrylic in it!! The ones on the top right have my journal to scrap and my american holiday to scrap!!! The grey drawers have all my plain A4 paper and card.

Well, its been a long time since I updated-a lot has happened!!! We've had the cyber crop-which was great fun, mum came down, and Graham and harry looked after us :-). managed to do most of the classes and some of the challenges! I managed to get a score of 810!!!!

I them was strck down with tonsillitus!!!! Graham insisted i go to the out of hours doc, who took one look at my throat and gave me anti-biotics!!! So it has taken a while to feel human again!!! Still have headaches-but getting used to them!!!

Anyway-exciting news! We are now the proud owners of 2 baby bearded dragons!!!!! We have had them a week, and so far Harry loves helping out with them-loves feeding them and even clearing them out!!!! But most of all he loves his cuddles with them-and so do I!!!!

Well, i have finished my layout for the Trading Faces swap on the UKS Cyber Crop, and i have to say I really enjoyed it! Once i knew what colours she liked, then off I went!! She told the thread she was thrilled with it-so I'm soooooo chuffed LOL.

I have also managed to do 2 layouts for Scrapitude-I'm a guest designer for the month of may, so looking forward to seeing my Layouts on the website! Will be able to show you on here when I'm given the nod too ;-)

Well, here are the last 2 pieces of my jigsaw!! They are stitch and texture (i have stitched through the buttons, and added lots of different textures), and Netty's Clon piece-which i decided to go with the 'squirty flower' side of a clown-the beads are loose like water LOL. the final piccie is of the completed jigsaw!!! I have had sooooooo much fun with this! Thanks Netty!!!

well, home again after a busy weekend!!! Been at Ally Pally this weekend :-). On saturday mum and I did three classes-Blonde moments with Dyan, Banana Frog and then Capture the Magic!! Then there was a little time for shopping before home! Sunday was just shop, shop shop!!!! My shoulder hurts now form carrying all that cardstock!!! Will take a piccie tomorrow!!!!!

I won a prize on the CTM stall! It was a set of A4 storage folders--woo hoo. I LOVE storage!!!!

Been a while I know, but as its been the school hols, it means i'm working full-time! Still they are over now-only one full day to do at Easter, and the next full-time bit will be at May half term!!!

Well, harry has woken up with chicken pox!!!!! He must have caught it from Tyler who had it 2 weeks ago LOL. He has one on his w*lly, so its sore again, so he's playing the PS2 to keep his hands busy-so he doesn't scratch!!!!!Will take piccies later!

We are doing a team CC tonight-if anyone is around-will have to print off the sketch now, and start thinking!!

Diet not going well-what with the stress of Harry's op, and working full-time (not much healthy food in their house), i'll be starting again on Monday when I also plan to start swimming twice a week!

well, its the day after Harry's surgery, and he's doing well!The day went well. We were at the hospital for 7am OMG, and shown to his bed! He was then allowed to play in the playroom til it was time to go down! this was the best bit as far as Harry was concerned-soooo many toys and not enough time :-)
We were seen by the surgeon and the anaesthetist(sp) who explained the whole process! Harry was given some 'magic cream' on the back of hos hands at around 9am and he was then allowed to return to the playroom to allow it to work. He was taken down to theatre at around 10 (surpisingly in his own clothes!!!!), where only one of us was allowed to go into the anaesthetic room-so Graham went as I was beginning to be a bit of an emotional wreck! The head nurse in the room was a fab bloke who got Harry to try and make 'mountains' with the monitor LOL, he even put it on his toes to see if that would work! All the time Harry was asking lots of questions!!!! When it was time for the needle, i expected tears, but none arrived, he breathed in the oxygen too like a star! and soon he was fast asleep-and then my tears started!!!!!!!

We went to get something to eat as we were told it would take approx 45 mins! We were called to recovery an hour later to find him smiling at the nurses who said he'd been an angel!!!!! He got a bravery award from them too :-)

He was wheeled back to his room where we gave him the PSP, which he proceeded to play til the battery wore out :-). when lunch arrived he ate like a horse (maybe he needs an anaesthetic more often LOL), and then it was just a case of waiting for him to do a wee, so we could go home!!!!!! Having had no tears/pain at all, we got some when we removed the dressing for his first wee-not sure if it was due to the pain of the sticky tape (which was REALLY sticky) or having seen his willy all red and swollen and bloody!!!!!

Leaving the hospital took a long while, as we couldn't carry him without it hurting, and walking was sore too!!!!! Then there was the car park nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had used what cash we had on our lunch, thinking we could pay for parking with a card--NO!!! they don't take cards!!!! So Graham had to run to the nearest town and find a ATM!!! Don't know what we'd have done if i was on my own-no way could Harry have made it to the town and back!!!!! I think the hospital will be getting a strongly worded letter from me!!!!!!!!

We kept him up as late as possible, so there would be no jigging around in his bed, so he went to sleep at 9.15 where he didn't move til this morning at around 6.15!!!

He has been on the sofa all day playing the PSP or playstaion and watching TV! He is absolutely exhausted, but won't take a nap-so not sure what time he'll go to bed tonight-but he'll need a bath first, so that will be interesting LOL--watch this space

well, tonight, i'm more stressed then ever before, as tomorrow morning Harry is going into hospital to have a circumcision. Hopefully it will put paid to all the 'crooked aims' we get LOL
We have to be thee at 7am OMG, no lay-in then.

We have got him a new PSP (to replace the DS I lost just before christmas) but won't give it to him til we get there-and if we are kept hanging around for any length of time! I also have a pressie from Abbie and Niall and have been told to give it to him in the morning :-)

NAUGHTY ME!!!!!!!!

Its been a while since I updated this thing!!!!

Mind you, have not been very well, so I have an excuse! Also on tues and wed this week, i had to do my first aid training! The things we nannies have to do LOL. I sat there with 7 other people (only one of which was a nanny!) and kept thinking to myself--I know this, I want to go back to work!!!! Still, at least its done now, won't need doing again for another 3 years!!!!

Well, I have been tagged by Andie, who wants me to list my 5 fave songs, so guess what I'll be thinking about for the next day or so!!!

As we speak, I'm ripping my dad's CD's. I've got him a MP3 player for hen he goes fishing, so now I putting some of his fave CD's on for him before I give it to him (he wouldn't have a clue!!) as for him knowing how to actually work it-who knows!!!!! WATCH THIS SPACE!!!!

well, what a productive weekend! We all had fun at the Make-It show on Sat (even managed to bump into lots of scrapping friends too :-) ), didn't buy nearly enough, but never mind, credit card will get a bashing later LOL.

We had out own little crop on Sat evening, and between the 5 of us, we managed 15 LO's!!!
Just have to upload mine now :-).
This morning I woke up to a headache form hell, but had my weigh in, and managed to lose another 4lbs this week--WOO HOO!!!

well, not been well for the last 3 days, so no updates :-( Woke up tuesday feeling awful-full blown migraine, so stayed in bed, only getting up to go to work-where i felt lousy, came home and straight to bed again-needless to say didn't make work on Wed!
Feeling tonnes better, but have been left with a cold and sore throat!

Well, I have 3 of the chicks coming to see me today (or tomorrow if they get stuck in major traffic :-) ). and mum arriving today too, so a full house, although the girls have decided to stay at a nearby hotel-as apparently Gayle snores LOL. We are all off to the Make-it show at Farnborough tomorrow for some serious stash shopping, so a good time will be had, then its back here for our own little crop :-)

well, last night was a nightmare! Harry was up more times that i care to count! He eventually came in with me.

Today he insisted he was ok to go to school, so off we went!!!
I then met a friend for a coffee and a danish at our local garden centre, were we sat and chatted for 2 hours LOL.

When I picked up Harry from school, I had a proud mummy moment. He's been put up a reading group and was sent to the headteacher cos his work was 'amazing' as hos teacher told me! He got a special star as a reward!!!

We had a team cyber crop tonight where we all worked on a sketch! Unfortunately as i was nearly finished, Harry proceeded to wake again!!!! He has developed a raspy cough and a tummy ache, so it looks like another bad night ahead!:-(

I managed to quickly finish the LO, so will post a piccie in the morning!!

2nd post of the day!!!!

Back from work and now my back is in a horrid state :-( i just wish we could get a new car (automatic) then i would be able to go back to enjoying driving!!!!!

harry is being a total nightmare tonight-just won't go to sleep! Lets hope its not a repeat of last night!!!!!

I finally finished sorting out the kitchen today! Threw enough stuff out for the birds to feed them for a month LOL, and a black sack full of out of date stuff, and bits I'm NOT EATING ANYMORE LOL. Feeling very pleased with myself!!!

I even managed a bit more of the covers on Harry's A-Z Album, and hopefully will get that finished this weekend!!!!

I'm knackered!!!!

Harry had a very disturbed night last night!! By 3am he'd woken up 5 times :-(, so this morning I'm using matchsticks to keep my eyes open!!!!!

well, i have cleaned every surface in my kitchen LOL, tomorrow its the cupboards. They are still full of cr*p from christmas, and stuff that never gets used, so will be out of date by now, and since I'm now on a diet, I'm binning the lot!!!! I'll let you know how many black bags I throw out!!!!

Was hoping to get the cover of my second A-Z done tonight, but as usual, I've spent most of the evening chatting on UKS and MSN LOL. Also was interupted with Harry having a couple of nighmares!!!! He gets himself soooooo hot-brings all of his cushions and toys into bed with him, and them buries himself! Hopefully he's down for the night now!

Maybe I'll get the A-Z done tomorrow when he's at school!!!! Mind you I need to pop to Hobbycraft for some material first!!!!!

So the plan for tomorrow is school run, hobbycraft, cupboards, scrapping LOL. Will it get done in that order-we'll see!

well, I've just about caught up with the chat on UKs, Scrapitude and Facebook!!! My three daily haunts LOL, so now better get started with more sorting out! Have visitors coming down next weekend, and this place is a bombsite LOL. Still have towork out the sleeping arrangements for them too LOL. Mind you I still want to do more to Harry's A-Z album, so what should I do---decisions decisions :-)
